A table by the sea, in the heart of the city

Wood-fired Mediterranean plates, natural wine, and a room built for long, unhurried evenings.

The kitchen

Fire, olive oil, and the day's catch

Olea is a small room with an open hearth. We cook what the coast and the farms send us each morning, simply and over flame. The menu shifts with the season and the tide, the welcome never does. Come hungry, stay late.

From our guests

One of the best meals I have had in Portland. The branzino alone is worth the trip.

James W.

Unhurried, warm, and quietly perfect. We stayed three hours and did not notice.

Renata C., regular

Every plate tastes like someone cared. The wine list is a joy.
